O yes it is
wonderful to be in a relationship but what matters most is your attitude. As human
beings we have different temperamental traits. Let us discuss briefly about
different temperaments as they affect relationships.
First, let us
consider that Temperament as the basic structure of our unrefined emotional
make-up. Every unrefined temperament makes our personality crude and dangerous
for relationships. Our temperaments are the natural qualities that we inherited
from our fore-bears. The psychologists group them into the following four (4):
1.
SPARKY SANGUINE
2.
ROCKY CHOLERIC
3.
MARTIN PHLEGMATIC
4.
MELANCHOLIC
Read through
this and answer the question below:
SPARKY
SANGUINE: He is Super-extrovert.
Superficial and externally.
He is cheerful, optimistic and extremely responsive. His childish curiosity
marks him out in the crowd among other temperaments. His tendency to live in
the present is an asset in him to easily forget the past and seldom frustrated
or fearful of future difficulties. He is easily inspired to get engaged in a
new plan or project. He easily carries others along, even in an error. He is a
genuine lover. He is a first impresser! If you are meeting the Sanguine for the
first time, no doubt, you’ll fall for him!
He is tender and
compassionate at heart. He responds to the needy so freely and passionately with
little or no persuasion. He is able at any time to share the emotional feelings
of people both good and evil. No one can love you more forget you faster than
the Mr. Sanguine.
When motivated and
disciplined by God, they can be great servants of Jesus Christ.
ROCKY
CHOLERIC: He is strong willed and independent. He is an
adventurer, a goal getter and unperturbed by adversity. He is optimistic a
practical achiever. He is a workaholic. He is a project man, always at the
field of work doing something. He is a keen organizer but not a perfectionist.
He is born leader. He
is prone to be arrogant and self confident. He is a good judge, critical and
analytical of others. He is quick and bold in the state of emergency. He never
gives up on whatever he has decided to accomplish until he gets his goals all
achieved! He is “Mr. Right”.
He does not easily
concede to any blame; even when he is wrong. He hates to be confronted with is
faults. Not easily moved by people’s opinion. He’ll be bent on having his way
in almost everything, not minding whether it favours others or not!
Without discipline,
teaching, training and constant exposure to the right atmosphere and right way
of living; Mr. Choleric can easily derail through his “Self-righteous, pride
and erroneous attitude”.
MARTIN
MELANCHOLY: He is highly intelligent and
multi-talented. He is self sacrificial and exceptionally gifted. He is
emotionally responsive. He is motivated by reflective thinking and emotions. He
is a creative thinker, play-write and composer. He is a born perfectionist. He
is interested in details and requires high acceptability. He is a quick analyst
of projects and the problems associated with them in a jiffy! He is a diligent
servant and hates to disappoint or fail in his duty post for whatever reason.
He prefers to perform behind the scene as a secret disciple. He often chooses a
very high demanding vocation for little or no reward at the end! He is reserved
and hardly volunteers to do anything for the fear of failure. He rarely
overeats or overindulges in anything. He does his best to meet deadlines and
self-imposed standards. He is prone to depression, due to self neglect in the
bid to complete a task. He can keep awake for many days, fasting and praying in
order to accomplish his goals.
Whenever Mr. Melancholy
consecrates himself to God in deep search of the word and meditation, his
prediction can be very accurate and prophetic. A good number of the Melancholy
people are powerful philosophers, prophets and mighty musicians.
PHIL
PHLEGMATIC: He is apathetic and indifferent. He is
low-spirited and prone to be lazy. He is calm and unexcited. He is extremely
careful. Hardly takes decision in a hurry. He is a powerful thinker and planner.
He is a born diplomat and conciliatory by nature; (Hates to be confronted with
his fault and failures). He will do just anything to avert quarrel or physical
fight. He is a dependable and accurate time keeper. He can be a very faithful
friend. He is rarely involved with others, yet not disloyal. Slow at decision
making if at all he makes any. He avoids exerting or dissipating energy in any
task. He will seek an easier way out as much as possible to avoid stress. He is
meticulous. His leadership qualities must be discovered by somebody very close,
otherwise he remains a faithful follower and inactive for as long as he lives,
because he’ll never shows the leadership qualities he has! Interestingly, if is
leadership qualities are discovered; and he accepted to be a leader, he can be
a very wonderful and successful leader.
